Hentai series from the 1990-2000 period have long been for me the benchmark for quality erotic anime productions. “Tales Trilogy” not only confirmed this fact, but also convinced me that the Japanese are no stranger to self-irony and the ability to laugh at themselves. And it’s all in a totally hentai way! It doesn’t matter what gender you belong to. Imagine gathering in the company of your closest friends. Get a pre-prepared case of beer (martini / vodka / cognac – purely to your taste and liver stamina) and starts a so-called “friendly party”. And so, when half a box dissolved in the blood of your little group, and no one wants to dance anymore, the time of stories begins. And the higher the degree in the blood of your friends, the more frank and lewd their content will be. Let the next morning (if you certainly remember everything you said / heard last night) you have a merciless pain in the head from drinking, the dominant feeling in the soul will be ashamed. Because last night you told about yourself/friends/colleagues/friends what can be seen only in the TV series “Tales Trilogy”. The structure of the series is reminiscent of all known television, humorous magazine “Fitil”. But, the content is more like the stories told by Anfisa Chekhova, in the program “Sex and the City” on TNT. To put it simply, we are faced with erotic stories in anime images. The first two episodes have three of them, the last one has a little more. I’m not going to reveal the plot of each of them, because it’s as impossible as describing a joke without revealing the humorous twist. I will only touch upon the technical part of the series. Let’s leave aside the beauty of modern hentai series like “Sexfriend” and “Little Monica’s Story”. They are more computer-generated and have almost reached the bar of perfection. Think of the good old hand-drawn graphics on Bubblegum Crisis and Dominion Tank Police. Remember? Now mentally reduce the amount of clothing on the main characters, and you get “Tales Trilogy”. Everything is rendered qualitatively, erotically and without the slightest hint of vulgarity. They don’t show you any anatomical details, but the main point of the show is not in the process itself, but in the erotic subtext surrounding it.
